For decades, we have been committed to just one mission: providing clear information about health care so people can make wise choices for themselves. By offering evidence-based information, practical remedies and honest answers to your questions, you get what you need to weigh the benefits and risks of treatments or get the consolation of knowing you are not alone. We first began with a book titled The People’s Pharmacy. Now, though, you may have heard us interviewing experts on the radio or our podcast, The People’s Pharmacy with Joe & Terry Graedon. Whether you listen every week or you only tune in when the topic is of particular interest to you, you are helping to show that thoughtful, trustworthy health guidance is still important. And here is where we want to ask for your help. If you post ratings, others who are not familiar with our podcast may give it a look.
Here’s the deal: Our podcast currently has 982 ratings on Apple Podcasts. We’d love to reach 1,000 before the end of the year. That’s only 18 ratings! If you haven’t already done so, could you please take 10 to 20 seconds to tap a star rating? It’s quick, free and easy, and it makes a difference.

Why Do Ratings Matter?
When someone searches Apple Podcast for information on a health problem like diabetes, high blood pressure or kidney disease, they have a lot of options. Ratings help them find shows like ours instead of sensationalized podcasts that might not contain reliable information. The more ratings we have, the less trouble people have finding our credible, balanced health information. In other words, your rating is not just to make us feel good (though it might). You are really acting as part of a community, helping others find the information they need.
How to Leave a Star Rating:
It is easier than you imagine, even if you’re not very tech savvy.
On iPhone or iPad:
1. Open the Apple Podcasts app (the purple icon with a microphone).
2. Search for “The People’s Pharmacy” or use the link above.
3. Scroll down until you see “Ratings & Reviews.”
4. Tap the stars (anywhere from 1 to 5—we hope you’ll choose 5!).
5. That’s it. You’re done.
On Mac:
1. Open the Podcasts app.
2. Search for “The People’s Pharmacy.”
3. Scroll to “Ratings & Reviews.”
4. Click the stars to rate the show.
5. Done.
You don’t need to write anything. Just tap or click the stars, and you’ve helped us move closer to 1,000.
Could You Write a Review?
If you have a few more seconds, you could write a short review about why you listen. It doesn’t need to be an essay. A sentence, or maybe two, is perfect. Here are a couple of recent examples:
“I’ve been listening to The People’s Pharmacy for years. I just had to write a review to let everyone know how much great information their weekly podcast provides. A recent podcast on thyroid levels helped me discuss my situation with my endocrinologist. Very helpful.”
“We too have been listening to The People’s Pharmacy for years. We love the professionals Joe and Terry interview on the show.”
Each review helps other potential listeners understand what they might get from the podcast.
What If You Don’t Listen on Apple Podcasts?
We know not everyone uses Apple Podcasts, and that’s okay. If you listen on Spotify, Stitcher, or another platform, here’s how you can still help:
• Share an episode with a friend or family member who’d benefit from it.
• Make sure you’re subscribed so you don’t miss new episodes.
• Forward our newsletter to someone who cares about practical health information.
Every one of these actions helps us reach more people.
Thank You!
Whether you leave a rating today, share an episode tomorrow, or just keep listening, thank you. You’re the reason we do this work. And if you are one of the 18 people who can help us reach 1,000 ratings before December 31, we are grateful. It’s quick, it’s easy and it genuinely makes a difference.
