620 What Happens When We Die

When people are revived after a cardiac arrest, they sometimes report leaving their bodies and watching the resuscitation attempts from above. They may describe going through a tunnel, seeing a bright light, or rejoining dead relatives. There are many hypotheses about the source for these experiences. Our guest aims to study these phenomena scientifically. His research has taken him on a quest to understand the very nature of human consciousness.
