LoudNoises is responsible for the branding, responsive design and development of this website.
- WordPress is a great CMS for developing highly sophisticated custom websites with lots of content. The People’s Pharmacy has nearly 10,000 articles of in-depth health information, and we wanted to make sure they had the most robust solution on the market powering their business
- _s is a starter theme developed by Automattic (the people behind WordPress), leveraging minimal CSS, and as their advertising says, the theme really is a 1,000-hour head start
- _tk is a mobile-first theme based on _s, but with full Bootstrap integration. Since the site needed to be responsive, this was a no-brainer
Additionally, we use GuruGate to serve our digital health guides and the other information products we offer.

LoudNoises would like to extend a big thanks to Matt Mullenweg and Samuel Wood (Otto) at WordPress. Matt and Otto both went out of their way to help us get the content migration from The People’s Pharmacy old website & CMS into WordPress. Without this help, we absolutely could not have made this project a success. We are enormously grateful for their support. This sort of thing is part of what makes us proud to be part of the WordPress community.
And of course we would like to thank The People’s Pharmacy team for working with LoudNoises on this project. When a website is as central to a business as this site is to The People’s Pharmacy, earning the opportunity to develop it is a huge responsibility and a profound honor . Their team has what it takes to use this site as a spring board to take their business to the next level, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of helping them to be successful.
If you don’t yet know what an amazing team is behind The People’s Pharmacy, check out their about page. They’ve been at it since 1976, have a nationally syndicated radio program, are absolute experts at what they do, and are wonderful people.
