Listen to the interview with Dr. Dale Bredesen and read his book, The End of Alzheimer’s, to get critical details on how to prevent or reverse dementia. Which supplements make a difference? How can exercise, diet and sleep help keep cognitive capacities strong?
What Do You Know About Preventing Cognitive Decline?
When we first interviewed Dr. Dale Bredesen, we were excited about the results he was reporting in helping people overcome their symptoms of dementia. We wished, though, that we had a road map to help us figure out which changes make a difference. Now, Dr. Bredesen has provided that road map.
His book, The End of Alzheimer’s: The First Program to Prevent and Reverse Cognitive Decline, provides the guidelines we were wishing for. He describes the scientific research undergirding the recommendations he makes.
Three Types of Dementia:
In the CD, he lists three types of dementia. The first springs from inflammation or infection; in fighting these, the body creates beta-amyloid which then later builds up in the brain and creates plaques. In the second type, a “trophic” factor is missing: either one or more nutrients, or one or more hormones, or possibly both. In the third type, a person’s brain has been exposed to toxins such as mercury or mycotoxins produced by molds in homes or workplaces.
What Can You Do to Reverse These Problems?
Dr. Bredesen’s research is ground-breaking and fascinating. If you would like to know how you can avoid the onset of Alzheimer’s disease, maximize your information with both the book and the CD. You will learn how to identify the specific factors that are relevant for you and you will find out what you can do to correct them.
