We love Dr. Steve Feldman! He is an amazing dermatologist and a great human being. We interviewed him on The People’s Pharmacy nationally syndicated public radio show and he provided some intriguing insights.
Here is a little preview of what you will learn:
A Surprising Use for Flonase (Fluticasone)
Dr. Feldman really surprised us with this tip. He suggested an affordable (and potent) nasal spray called Flonase. He was not suggesting you spritz your nose for allergy symptoms, though.
Have you ever seen a Flonase commercial? In case you have missed it, here is a link worth watching:
So, what is in Flonase? It’s fluticasone…a potent corticosteroid. Dr. Feldman describes spritzing it on your skin for poison ivy and other itchy skin stuff. Don’t get carried away, though. A tiny spritz is all he was talking about.
Why not listen to Dr. Feldman himself to learn about:
- How to use Flonase on your skin
- What to do about psoriasis
- How much sun is good and how much is too much
- What to do about heat rash
- Atopic dermatitis treatments
- Avoiding bug bites
