Here are some photos I took over the last two days to prove that spring is really here in North Carolina. Here is a redbud in our back yard. Please note the Carolina blue sky!

You can read more about Chuck and how we developed Aluminum Free, Magnesium Rich Roll on Deodorants and The People’s Pharmacy Urea Skin Relief at this link. But why would an information source like The People’s Pharmacy develop body care products?

Why Did We Create The People’s Pharmacy Body Care Products?

Let’s start with the basics. The People’s Pharmacy began as a best selling book back in 1976. That’s when St. Martin’s Press took a huge gamble on a book that tried to demystify medicine. An interview on Good Morning America about dangerous food and drug interactions eventually led to #1 status on the New York Times best seller list.

That unexpected success has led to many more books, a nationally syndicated newspaper column (King Features Syndicate) and a nationally syndicated public radio show. It has also led to this website (www.PeoplesPharmacy.com).

We are probably the leanest (staffing wise) newspaper column, radio show and website in existence. Terry and I write 3 newspaper columns each week without assistance. We have one producer, one sound editor and one engineer for our radio show. Our website has one developer/designer. That’s it!

To keep this whole operation afloat, we needed some extra financial assistance and that is where the body care products come in. Every time you buy a lip balm, a deodorant or the new People’s Pharmacy Urea Skin Relief Intensive Skin Therapy, you help us produce one more radio show, write one more newspaper column and create one more newsletter. So thank you for your support.

What People are Saying About Urea Skin Relief:

One word of caution first. I have super sensitive skin. When I first started using our product I felt a tingle…maybe even a temporary burning sensation. A few people who are as sensitive as me also noticed this sensation. Jeri added this: “Do not use on broken skin.” I agree, the 20% urea is there to help heal red, dry and damaged skin. But it can hurt if applied to broken skin.

Karla is an enthusiastic supporter of The People’s Pharmacy Urea Skin Relief:

“We love Urea Skin Relief! I have a special thumb that peels, cracks and bleeds in the winter. Not this year! Even when the humidity and temperatures dropped for 10 days straight in January. That, in and of itself, is a miracle. My husband developed extremely dry and problematic hands – much worse than my thumb – after a course of antibiotics he should have never been prescribed. Urea Skin Relief is the most helpful of anything we’ve tried. We have a tube in the living room, all bedrooms and the bathroom. It is danged good, and we highly recommend.”

Laura puts Urea Skin Relief on her feet!

“I have been putting lotion on my feet in the mornings for years. But I decided to try this lotion with urea. I have been pleasantly surprised with the results. My heels, which were still a little rough even after years of lotion, are now smooth. I love it!”

Bee says it all:

“Way back in the late 80s (ha ha ha) my mom had me try a skin preparation that the local compounding pharmacy made for cracking feet. It had lanolin and urea in it amongst other things. It was great, but a wee bit greasy. Anyway, when you announced this People’s Pharmacy Urea Skin Relief I immediately bought a tube.

“I think I can safely say, barring some sort of breakdown in commerce, that I will continue to buy and use this until I am unable to do so. I did try another 20% urea brand, and tossed it after the first use. I always turn to the People’s Pharmacy for spot on folk remedies ( thank you a billion billion for benfotiamine!) and relevant news, and now this wonder cream for my dreadful dry skin.”

The Sale Ends At Midnight Tonight, March 19, 2024:
