Terry and I work a lot of hours. We create 2 newsletters each week and then there is our radio show. The People’s Pharmacy is heard on over 200 NPR stations/repeaters. There is a lot of work that goes into creating a nationally syndicated show and podcast. We also write newspaper columns for readers across the country. All that means we spend way too much time in front of a computer. The highlight of our day is taking our wonderful pooch Lulu on lots of walks. She loves them and so do we!

Why Should You Spend More Time Outdoors?
The answer is straightforward. It’s good for your health! You knew that, but let me count the ways:
- Morning light exposure helps us sleep better at night!
- Bright light will reduce our risk of dementia
- Forest bathing helps against stress, and can lower blood pressure
- Time outside reduces our risk of depression
- Looking at the horizon improves our vision
- Walking outdoors is good for our heart
