I am allergic to all generic Xalatan, Latanoprost. When the generic to Xalatan became available, my insurance company no longer paid for name brand. I tried all manufactures of Latanoprost. I am allergic to all of them. I am not sure what inactive ingredient I am having a problem with. I break out in hives and my eye itch non-stop. After switching back to Name Brand Xalatan, I no longer had the generic allergic symptoms. I also notice my eye pressure was so much better than when I was on generic.

Side effects (soreness/sensitive palms, feet soles, & gut) after I started using this product — even had to use glove when driving until I cut drops back to once a day.
