This drug is excellent until you need a larger dose. At 5/20 it worked well. at 10/20 there are side affects: swelling of the feet and dizziness when bending down. (over medicated for me, I thought) it appears that the jump to 10/20 was too much amlodipine – which caused swelling.
I found that (with approval from my dr.) alternating 10/20 with 5/20 every other day worked much better: kept the b/p low (110-125/65 range) and removed swelling.
