My daughter was on 10 mg of lexapro. She consulted the Psych nurse and told her she wanted to just stop taking this dose. The nurse said that it was OK to do.
Now she is experiencing terrible withdrawal symptoms. does anyone know of any safe Homeopathic substances to take that will help alleviate her symptoms? thank you for your help, Bill.

A rather thin 17 year old has been given escitalopram for anxiety-depression by his PCP. There was no appreciable improvement with 20 mg daily. The doctor recommended increasing the dose. When I said I feared serotonin syndrome, the family doctor said a) it is very rare, and b) most of the drug accumulates in the brain, and therefore there is no problem in increasing the dose.

I was on Lexapro for a foggy/dreamy feeling that I was getting back when I was about 14 or 15. It worked really really well. I am not on it currently but I am thinking that I should… I am having the same stuff occur with more physical symptoms. Great drug, I don’t think I had any side effects at all and helped me get to a somewhat normal stage.
