Online Viagra Goes Official

Viagra has become a household name, but many men are still a bit embarrassed about picking up their prescriptions at the pharmacy. There has also been a big business in counterfeit Viagra sold over the Internet.
To counteract these complications, the manufacturer of Viagra has decided to sell its popular erectile dysfunction medication directly to patients. Men will still need prescriptions, but instead of going to a pharmacy they will be able to buy their pills directly from the Pfizer website.
This unprecedented strategy of bypassing a pharmacist could create a whole new business model for the pharmaceutical industry. If successful, drug companies may end up competing with pharmacies for access to customers.
