Your program about BPA is mind-boggling. I have enjoyed many of your programs. I see that People's Pharmacy is not on the
schedule of any radio stations in Ohio. I would love for my son who lives just outside of the Dayton/Kettering, Ohio area to
have access to it. What are the chances?

PEOPLE'S PHARMACY RESPONSE:

We would love to be on as many NPR stations as possible. The only way that can happen is if there is groundswell of requests by listeners. Our show is FREE to public radio stations across the country. You would have to ask the program directors and general manager to carry the show.

Mustard for cramps

At a school in Dickinson ND, wrestlers sometimes get cramps during training or matches. The staff gives them a bit of yellow mustard. Often they do not even swallow but just spit it out into a bucket. Immediate relief and they continue with wrestling

Why is the The People's Pharmacy radio show NOT broadcast in Ohio?

PEOPLE'S PHARMACY RESPONSE:

We WISH we were heard all over Ohio. We give away our radio show to public radio stations for FREE! So...if you (or anyone else who sees this comment) would like to listen to the show, please contact the program director of your local NPR station and encourage them to consider The People's Pharmacy show. Remember...FREE!!! Can't beat that price.

If you can't manage to talk the station into carrying us, consider signing up for the free podcast (can't beat that price!). Just look in the upper right hand corner of this page where it says Subscriptions. Or go to iTunes and search People's Pharmacy.

Thanks!

I really enjoy The People's Pharmacy. I live in Sarasota for 7 months of the year and get the radio show there at 7am on Saturdays on NPR.

I am in the metropolitan NY area every summer and can't believe that you don't have an affiliate here that will carry the People's Pharmacy. Our local station is 93.9 FM. See if you can get that set up ! Its such a valuable show, I miss it all summer long. Thank you !

PEOPLE'S PHARMACY RESPONSE:

Actually, you can listen to an edited/condensed 30 minute version of the show on Thursday evenings on the jazz station WBGO out of Newark, NJ. We think the show airs 7:30 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, right after Marian McPartland's Piano Jazz. Here's a link for NY metro listeners:

Greetings Greadons,

It's hard to believe that you can't find a radio station in the Los Angeles-Orange County area to broadcast. With such a great population in these counties, it would seem pretty beneficial for you financially to get your excellent and healthful information out to us in these areas. Maybe check around with some of the more popular radio stations and see if they would be interested in broadcasting your program, for a hefty fee, I'm sure.

I'm thinking that the profit you would make in sales of your products through radio broadcasting in these areas would hopefully pay for the radio time, not to mention the addition of more valued customers.

Keep up the great work you're doing. Be advised that we who care really do appreciate all the work do regarding making our lives more healthy.

Regards,
Patric F.

PEOPLE'S PHARMACY RESPONSE:

Patric,

We would LOVE to be on the air in the LA area. We give our program away for FREE to anyone who wants to broadcast it, especially public radio stations.

It is not easy to convince program directors and/or general managers to add new programming, however. We welcome your assistance!
