Pineapple Juice As Hiccup Cure

Newspaper Columns, Herb & Home Remedy Q&A April 12, 2008

Pineapple Juice As Hiccup Cure Q. I am surprised that I have never seen pineapple juice mentioned in your column as a cure for hiccups. It works with one sip!

A. Thanks for mentioning it. We’ve heard that pineapple juice can reduce joint pain, but you are the first to report that it cures hiccups.

A sip of pineapple juice really works for hiccups. I tried it by accident once because I was looking for anything in the fridge that might help with my hiccups. I tried pineapple juice and it worked immediately. It's the only remedy that works for me. If you are prone to hiccups, keep the small individual size cans on hand.
