You may have noticed a change to the rating system at PeoplesPharmacy.com. We encourage our readers to rate the helpfulness of our articles, which up till now was done by clicking "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" on the article.
We've just revised the system to give our readers more rating options. Now you'll see five stars below the title of each article. You can click the stars to rate the article: five stars for "Very Helpful," one star for "Not Helpful," and anything in between.
We hope you'll give it a try and rate our articles, radio shows and videos to let us know which are more or less helpful. And tell us what you think of the star ratings by posting a comment below. Do you like it better or worse than the previous "thumbs up/thumbs down"? We welcome your feedback.

My go to place for health info.
I read all of the info you send that is interest to someone of our age; 80+; many times I make copies as I need to read more than one time to fully absorb; (I have had 5 strokes). As you know that slows your mind down.
Sometimes the comments are as helpful as the article itself. this week there is a article which has more helpful input than the article afforded. How to rate that?.
I find your Health News very good and pass on some of it to family & Friends.
Catch your Radio and PBS shows when I can. Nice to have email information just waiting for me to read. Love the 'home remedy' sections.
Excellent point, Abigail. The ratings system does offer a feature for rating comments, so people would be able to rate a comment or an article. However, we didn't use it because in our experience, it can encourage a sense of competition among commenters, and we value the cooperative spirit of the comments here.
I try to encourage everyone I know to look at your site. I have been able to help others as well as my family with information I have found here, keep up the excellent work. I also remember when my daughter had chronic eczema and you guys sent me an e-book on various remedies, which I will never forget.
I recently [twice] reported problems using the stars. Just now I tried again. When I voted a pop up appeared saying I had already voted. Not so. This was the first time I voted on this issue. Are others having similar problems?
Why lower your credibility by posting unproven remedies on your site, like keys down the neck or soap for leg cramps? Unless you have some idea of WHY a remedy works, don't push it. Yes, there are a lot of gullible people out there, but don't prey on them.
Most of your stuff is good but I get tired of seeing the same thing over and over. Novelty keeps it interesting.
Current research on Vitamin D3 is really exciting. Why not cover more about the many ways it can make life better for so many of us, especially as we age?
I'm glad you've put the rating stars at the end of the information now as well as at the beginning. Many times I wanted to tell you that by the time I finished reading an article, I would forget to go back to the top to rate it. Thanks for your good work.
