You guys are the Best!! Just found this site. The vicks vapor rub on the feat, is a “god send”. My cronic smokers cough, is so much better. I finally can get a good nights sleep.

I had a tickle and slight sneezing that was slight enough to allow me to have abdominal surgery on Nov. 19. But, I still have whatever it was hanging on 2 months later. Its not the flu, but what I suppose to be a nasty cold that comes, goes, comes again – you get the picture, it won’t go away. My doctor has been totally unresponsive, other than prescribing the $$ version of the OTC generic version Clariton.
It didn’t help. I just finished mixing a concoction of ginger, cinnamon, cloves, thyme and my favorite tea and look forward to relief soon.
Thanks for your wonderful show and website. You are much more realistic and accessible than my doctor.

Thanks for confirming my belief in ginger!
I have a spiced tea recipe that uses Tang, Tea, Ginger, Cinnamon and Cloves. My family swears by it when we have a sore throat and/or cough.
I may try adding some thyme to the recipe, too.
