I read your article on the use of buttermilk for cold sores. I too have been plagued with cold sores throughout my life. They got so bad that they worked their way around my lips lasting over a month. I used prescribed topical medications, oral medications which all worked but they still kept coming back. You commented about L-Lysine. I take 1000 mg of L-Lysine daily and I haven't had a cold sore for over 7 years. So at the least I can attest that the use of L-Lysine daily does work.
