Q. I had stinky feet and rough heels. I used Vicks to help with my rough heels, and it worked.

Then I heard about coconut butter. I started using this on my feet and it worked almost overnight to cure the rough heels and stinky feet.

I highly recommend it. I bought my coconut oil at Whole Foods. It is solid at room temperature.

A. Coconut oil is an excellent moisturizer. Udderly Smooth Foot Cream contains shea butter, another super moisturizer. (The manufacturer, Redex, supports The People's Pharmacy radio show.)

For years my hands have looked awful with extreme dryness, cracked skin that burns like crazy and overall just nasty looking. I have tried a ton of different products on the market with no success. Is there anything that you can recommend?

I am not sure I would want to use coconut oil in the summer on my toes (which is where it sweats and stinks). I just swipe some solid deodorant on my toes underneath. No need to go between or on top of the toes.

I realize you are interested in a hand creme. I have tried a number of foot creams. Curel is by far the best. After I apply at night of course I have cream left on my hands. Try this. CVS & WalMart both carry it. For some reason Target does not even thou they carry the other Curel products.

I use organic coconut oil purchased at health food stores for EVERYTHING.
Hands, feet, face, ankles, scars. It is soothing, and seems to be absorbed quickly into the skin. Wonderful all purpose moisturizer.

p.s. I am 81 years old

Hello,

I just wanted to add to the above about Vicks and Coconut Butter-Oil.
I used Vicks to help with my stinky feet and very rough heels. It worked, so long as I kept using it. Then I heard about Coconut Butter-Oil. I switched to that, and it worked much better than the Vicks. First off, you see improvement overnight. Then after using it for about for 4-5 days I only had to use it once a week, then 1 every two weeks, then once a month and now never.

It totally cured my feet. They don't smell and the heels are soft. I don't know what's in coconut oil but it seems to offer a permanent cure.

It seems to have some anti-fungal properties to it.

Please share this with your readers.

I have used coconut oil as a lubricant and today found it in the oils section at Walmart. Didn't buy because I still have some from the health food store.
Go Walmart!
