Men who want to reduce their risk of developing prostate cancer need to exercise regularly. In a study of nearly 200 men who underwent prostate biopsies, those who walked at least three hours or more each week were less likely to be diagnosed with prostate cancer. The investigators speculate that exercise may lower testosterone levels, which could act like fertilizer for abnormal prostate cells. Exercise may also improve immune function. Regardless of the mechanism, exercise is crucial for good general health and may be especially valuable for prostate protection.

I agree that exercise if the best way to prevent trouble. I read a long time ago that men who have the best kind of exercise (sex) on a regular basis have the least problems. I am now 62 and my wife and I have made love making at least a weekly event.
So far so good.
PS I also run and have done so for over 30 years. In fact, I getting ready to do my 2 miles in a few minutes. I do it at least 3 times a week. I would do it more often but I had a hip replacement 5 years ago.
Keep doing both kinds of exercise.
