I was switched from Ortho tri cyclen lo and had a terrible experience. I had a constant period for over 6 weeks. I bled so much I actually developed anemia! When I called the doctor they told me it was in my head. It has now been 6 months and back on the old stuff and my period still isn't right. I will never use generic birth control ever again.
My daughter was switched to this generic by our pharmacy. The same week she started the new generic, she had massive head pain and began vomiting uncontrollably. Thankfully, we got her to the emergency room on time where she was diagnosed with multiple blood clots in her brain. She had no risk factors. No family history, she does not smoke, drink alcohol, or take illegal drugs. She is sixteen years old. I would not recommend this drug to anyone.
