Januvia is used to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes. It should not be used for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis, as it would not be effective.

I read some research a couple of years ago regarding the Parkinsons treatment Cycloset. It was indicated that it was beneficial as a Type II Diabetes treatment and that it worked through one's brain to regulate the Diabetes. I followed it through the trials and collaborated with my Doctor. A little over a year and a half ago I began to use it's progressively recommended dosage under the supervision of my Doctor, (From one pill to a maximum of six pills)in tandem with Januvia. The results thus far have been good and side effects not an issue. My question is: has their been any other tandem medicine than Januvia which has reflected positive results?
Thank you,
LM
