Could you please comment as to the safety of the procedure - laser hair removal.
Is the laser dangerous for the body to be exposed to?

I would like to know this too since I have been doing this for about one year. it seems to have lessened the hair, but now I heard that it might get rid of it for a while but can actually cause hair growth to increase.

I had hair removal of all my legs several years ago, I am Italian and had really hairy legs for quite some time. The hair removal was great!!! It takes at least a year --over time--- to finish as your hair grows in different stages. At any rate it was the best investment I made (as far as doing something for myself goes). I would say it got off 97% of my hair. A few grow back, but they are light and soft. I shave once every few months. Sure beats a few times a week. Make sure you go to a reputable hair removal clinic. It would be one of the main things they do and it is usually a registered trained nurse who does it. It is not pain free mind you. There is a sting to this... but well worth it all. Not cheap either.

I had laser hair removal treatment for my eyebrows about 25 years ago. It was very effective and probably removed about 98% of unwanted brows. It takes several months and is expensive. The treatments can 'sting' a little but I would do it again in a heartbeat. make sure you go to someone reputable.

While having laser hair removal will any medications cause a reaction? I have had laser hair removal and had very bad side effect. Went to a very reputable dermatologist and was told they never had anyone with a reaction like this. Have type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure, all controlled by medication. Any ideas? Was also tested with other laser and reacted to all.
