Q. I have a cure for stinky feet. Wash them, dry them well and apply Mitchum unscented solid antiperspirant to the toes and the area between them. I applied it every day for about a month, then every other day, then once every few weeks. I now apply it just once a month and it works very well. I use a separate applicator for my feet instead of the same one I use under my arms.
A. Reducing perspiration on the feet is a good way to discourage bacterial growth. This contributes to foot odor. Other strategies include foot soaks with Epsom salts, baking soda or dilute vinegar.

Another remedy for stinky feet is taking a zinc supplement. My son's friend had such stinky feet that when he took off his shoes and socks, the odor could be smelled two rooms away. I told him to try a zinc supplement (balance with copper), and two weeks later he was fine!
Also a good idea is that one should change into fresh socks twice daily (in the morning and after coming home from school/work); and also shoes could be changed twice a day and aired out, or change every other day to air out.
Cardinal rule: never wear shoes barefoot-only sandals as the feet are exposed to air!
At age 78, I had a lot of trouble sleeping through the night. Melatonin helped some but not enough. My cure? Ear plugs. I suppose my problem was minor sounds: central blower turning on and off; dog barking in the distance; or a neighbor closing a car door. Completely unaware of such interruptions, I awoke frequently, then remained wide awake, sometimes for long periods. Now I sleep like a log, uninterrupted usually between seven and eight hours every night.
Stinky Feet!
